Perhaps, this isn’t Robin Padilla’s lucky year. When everyone thought that everything is sailing smoothly for Binoe’s career in ABS-CBN and its affiliates, fans of both Robin Padilla and her supposed leading lady, Toni Gonzaga were dismayed upon the news that their upcoming movie together got canceled.
Philippine Movies’ Bad Boy was supposed to team up with premiere talk show host Toni Gonzaga in a movie for Star Cinema. However, the movie will not push through.
The news came along with another news that Robin’s allegedly upcoming sitcom with Mariel Rodriguez also got shelved. However, no confirmation was made regarding this.
A source said that the reason for the movie getting canceled is that the director will not be able to finish the movie in time for its release date. There are also news of a need for a major revision of the script.
Well, let’s just hope that there will be other projects for Robin Padilla in the Kapamilya Network. Perhaps, Wowowee-like show?
