Sarah Geronimo at the Record Breaker concert
I got lots of surprises for today. Topping the list was the sort of surprise quiz from Atty. Batongbacal. Well, Darwin actually told me beforehand that we will be having a “surprise” quiz.
Speaking of surprises, it surprises me to hear the news of the purported negotiations between Sarah Geronimo’s camp and some GMA-7 executives, relating to the former’s transfer to the latter. But before I delve into the issue, let me greet first my avid reader Coy Gomez, the Sunshine Dizon look-alike from the Department of Agrarian Reform.
I was told by a highly placed source that Sarah Geronimo’s contract with ABS-CBN has already expired. This sparked speculations that negotiation are already on the discussion table with regard to the possibility of the pop superstar’s transfer to the Kapuso network.
With co-Viva talents Mark Bautista, Rachel Ann Go, and Claudine Barretto transferring to the rival network, Sarah Geronimo’s potential transfer to GMA-7 is not a remote possibility.
But this news actually makes me think of what’s gonna happen to the musical series Sarah was slated to do for this year? Likewise, I was informed that the third installment of the Jon Lloyd – Sarah flick is already in the works. Hence, there is a very slim chance that Sarah would actually jump ship.

may 3 years contract pa si sarah sa abs cbn gawa gawa lang ng abs yan para pag usapan siya dahil meron siyang palabas na teleserye na diva or glee inspired kung kaya napaka imposibleng mangyari ang paglipat niya noh!
I think its really not true….Sarah has already been from GMA 7 before and her career has really boost up when she transfers to ABS-CBN …So I think its really not true that she would be transferring unless Viva management would decide to transfer just like what happen to Rachel Ann Go..
Not true at all…Viva has decided to retain Sarah in ABS for delicadeza…and utang na loob…

Not impossible, but highly improbable. Sarah is still under contract with ABS for a couple more years I think. And even if her contract is about to expire, ABS would move heaven and earth to keep her. Sarah Geronimo kaya yan!
