Sweethearts Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla arrived together in Manila from India at past 12 a.m. on Sunday.
Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez were holding hands at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
The “Pilipinas Win na Win” hosts declined to comment on whether they have already tied the knot abroad.
“There’s a proper time to talk about this matter,” Rodriguez told Gretchen Fullido of ABS-CBN News.
Rodriguez, who was wearing the diamond ring that Padilla gave her on ABS-CBN showbiz oriented talk show “E-Live” (Entertainment Live) last August 7, said they returned home to deal with something more important.
“We went home because there are bigger issues to tackle which is Robin’s son, Ali,” she added. “That’s why we’re back.”
Ali is the youngest child of Padilla. He is set to go back to his mother, Padilla’s ex-wife Liezl Sicangco, in Australia.
Sicangco was reportedly irked by Padilla’s purported neglect of their 4 children — Queenie, Kylie, Zhen-Zhen and Ali – lately due to Rodriguez.
Padilla has already apologized to his ex-wife and their children for his shortcomings.
Rodriguez, meantime, reiterated that she did not resign from “Pilpinas Win na Win.”
“I’m on indefinite leave. I did not resign,” she stated.
Rodriguez also stressed that she is not pregnant, noting that she already cleared the issue in her “E-Live” interview with Bianca Gonzales aired on Saturday.
The actress-television host also recounted her first trip to India which she described as good and fun. “I would love to go back,” she said.
