Claudine Barretto in a provocative episode on TV
The self-titled drama series of young superstar Claudine Barretto is nearing its end, said a GMA-7 executive.
In a tab article by veteran entertainment editor Salve Asis, GMA-7 is soon to end the run of the Claudine series.
No less than GMA-7′s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit confirmed that Claudine will soon be axed.
Claudine was Claudine Barretto’s first project since her transfer to the Kapuso network from Kapamilya ABS-CBN. For the longest time, Claudine led ABS-CBN’s stable of talents as one of the network’s prized possessions.
When asked on how Claudine fared in the ratings game, Mr. Duavit modestly replied, “ratings is picking up.”
According to Mr., Duavit, Claudine will be axed because Claudine Barretto is having a hard time with the schedule due to the shooting of her upcoming movie, In Your Eyes. Hence, if the reason is the shooting of her upcoming movie, it only means that Claudine will end ASAP.
