Comedienne and TV host Pokwang
Are radio DJ and television host Mo Twister and TV host-comedienne Pokwang engaged in a verbal tussle?
The exchange of heated words between the 2 celebrities reportedly ensued after Pokwang purportedly got irked when Mo allegedly referred to her as the ugliest host of ABS-CBN’s hit noontime show “Wowowee.”
This, however, was denied on Sunday by the radio DJ, who is known for being frank on his shows.
In a statement made on his celebrity talk show “Paparazzi,” Mo denied calling her ugly.
“Ang sinabi ko naman tungkol kay Pokwang, and it was very clear dito sa ‘Paparazzi,’ the reason why ‘Wowowee’ is a very popular show is because of Willie Revillame. Tungkol ito sa tweet na ni-retweet ni Pokwang na siya ang nagpapataas ng ratings ng ‘Wowowee.’ I said very clearly Willie is ‘Wowowee.’ And you cannot be mistaken, there’s no other reason kung bakit successful ang show na ‘yon,” Mo said.
Mo also commented on Pokwang’s alleged remarks that Mo’s TV program is not popular.
“If you are referring to ‘Paparazzi,’ fine. We are a new show but at least we are on the rise. And Pokwang we’re not on the decline like your program is. You need your host (Revillame). Your show is single digit decline now, my love. So, I’d say you get your host back and maybe you can join Bb. Pilipinas next year,” he said.
On Monday Pokwang retorted that she is more interested in listening to President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s first State of the Nation Address.
“Mas importante ang SONA kesa sa mga taong naninira lang sa talk show nila! Hahahahahaaa,” Pokwang tweeted.
She also posted this in her Twitter account: “Wag nalang natin patulan mga mangmang na hosts sa hindi sikat na talkshow!!”
The comedienne also extended her appreciation to all her supporters.
“Sa milyong pinoy na nagtatanggol sakin maraming salamat po all over d world!! Sa mga pikon na iilan lang naman kayo… God bless you!” she said.

Everyone knows how Mo Twister talks. And maybe the reason why his TV program is on the rise is because of the controversies he is building around himself.

is it just me, or is miss pokwang so intent on making a graffiti out of her comments that it’s ridiculous and makes her sound so “cheap”. the “hahahaha’s” and the “bato bato sa langit” are really annoying and it shows how insecure a person she is. if she has any sense at all, she should have just acted classy and just stayed quiet. she clearly showed that her level is way below mo twister’s tsk tsk tsk
will always be on Mo Twister’s side.
