Rumors claiming that Pinoy Big Bother Second Big Winner Paul Jake Castillo is addicted to drugs surfaced while the Cebu native was still inside the Pinoy Big Brother House.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Paul Jake admitted that he indeed had used drugs prior to his entry to the Pinoy Big Brother House. Paul Jake, however, claims that he stopped using drugs and was never addicted.
A very reliable source. who has personal knowledge of the matter approached Pinoy Gossip Boy. The source maintains that while it is true that Paul Jake is not currently using drugs, he was, in fact, addicted to that illegal substance for sometime. The source further said, that it ain’t easy to forget bad habits, as if insinuating that Paul Jake may return to his drug addiction and dependence.
Drug addiction may be a pressing concern but I personally believe that drug addicts, may they be celebrities or ordinary people, must not be frowned upon. They need our help and understanding more than they need our criticisms. If it is true that Paul Jake is drug dependent, which I honestly hope he is not, it is never too late to seek professional help.
But if he can resist not taking drugs for the whole duration of the PBB season, the I am convinced that he is not a drug addict.

I sooo agree. If he were, we should’ve seen withdrawal symptoms. He’s been winning lots of the challenges inside the PBB house and if you are a drug addict at least your performance will be sucky. Anyway… I’m proud that he was honest enough to tell the world his past.

NOT TRUE. That’s a BIG LIE. Paul Jake is not a drug addict. He just tried/experimented c/o peer pressure.

I do believe that Mr.Paul Jake Castillo has been a drug dependent,but it was before, and now he has change, so its alright. His just a human and humans really do makes mistakes, as long as he knows and accept his mistakes in life it will be alright soon,everybody deserves a second chance,and as what I can see he really is a good man and he really is a true blooded prince cause a real prince accepts his mistakes and ready to face his punishments whatever will be it.So my message to Mr. Paul Jake Castillo is always stay the same and he will always be my idol.
