United State’s oldest continuously published daily newspaper New York Post included Filipina singing sensation in one of their articles. The New York-based daily described our very own Charice as the newly crowned pop princess. In the said article, Charice was described in the likes of Lady Gaga.
Ryan Brockington of the New York Post praised Charice’s vocal range saying that her “mountain-and-valley vocals are the only reason you will need to fall in love with her sound.”
Charice’s single Pyramid was among New York Post’s PopWrap’s Fave Five for March 17.

what can i say? am just proud to be PiNoY!
Sana may link to the online article or scan if it’s printed on a hard copy newspaper? How can she be a pop princess when she doesn’t sing her own songs? Does she have her own album? True, it’s undeniable that her vocal range matches that of Whitney Houston BUT I don’t think she is fit to be called a pop princess. Just sayin’.
She sings her own songs. You probably haven’t heard of her new songs that are part of her upcoming debut album. They’re all over the web and they’re getting a lot of downloads in sites like iTunes.
samantha, behind ka sa news. she has a lot of new original songs and most of them are always played on the radio here in the US.
