Mariel Rodriguez is set to undergo an operation to have her ovarian cyst removed. As previously reported, Mariel Rodriguez is currently on leave from her TV shows. Thus, she has plenty of time for her cystectomy.
Mariel said she first discovered the dermoid cyst when she was 18 years old. From a size of a small stone, she said it now grew into a size of an apple.
Mariel has not set a specific date yet for her cystectomy. She, however, clarified that the cyst is benign. “Hindi naman siya cancerous. Pero kailangan ko pa rin siyang tanggalin,” she said in a taped interview.
Mariel had been hitting entertainment news lately due to her romantic links to Robin Padilla. Sources say that the two had already tied the know. Some claim it was in India, but a reliable source said they did it a bit earlier.
