Diamond Star Maricel Soriano transferred to TV, a very reliable source told Pinoy Gossip Boy. According to the source, Maricel will be part of the relatively young network’s pool of talents. Maricel is among ABS-CBN’s most prized possession, along with Sharon Cuneta, Vilma Santos, and Judy Ann Santos. However, her last soap with the TV network was Florinda, a canned soap for that matter.
TV5 was reportedly looking for talents who will join its stable of artists. TV5 has also pirated personalities in the news and current affairs industry.
Maricel, indubitably one of the biggest names in Philippine Showbiz, will surely give TV5 a good headstart. With Maricel’s transfer to TV5, we can expect other actors of similar status to follow suit.

tv5 sounds a better choice compared to gma7. however, the evil witch from gma7 is also now in tv5. so, that makes tv5 a not-so-good choice, too. hmnn.

sa mga talents ng dos, ok lang na lumipat kayo sa tv5 basta maganda ang offer.
huwag lang sa gma7 at gaya nga ng sinabi ni eagle riggs:

i don’t think so. maricel soriano is a great actress and very dependable. hinde ang tipo niya ang mawawalan ng offers.
I think it is a good move for tv5 and maricel. We need another strong player on TV aside from the 2 cornered fight between 2 and 7. Having someone with the stature of the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is good for TV5 to establish itself as a network to reckon with. And good for Maricel too since this will bring new and exciting challenges for her to possibly be given an opportunity to do shows that are “different” in approach and style (hopefully) than the “formula” shows given by abs and gma to audiences.
