Perhaps one of the more visible stars of her generation, Maja Salvador has indeed left a mark in Philippine Showbiz.
Discovered while guesting on a talk show, Maja Salvador had already made it far. As her career soars, it is inevitable for a blooming showbiz career like hers not to be tainted with scandals and controversies.
Just several months ago, Maja was rumored to be frequenting bars and getting herself drunk. She was even rumored to be caught having sex inside a car.
Now, Maja is battling yet another controversy. It all started with a blind item linking the young actress to a lesbian director. The lesbian director was later identified to be Direk Malou Sevilla.
Maja did not deny her closeness to Direk Malou but Maja clarified the issue.
“Nasabi nga sa akin na parang may blind item na kami nga raw ni Direk Malou, tapos, the next day, sila naman daw ni Kakai Bautista. Tinatawanan lang namin na parang … ‘talaga’?” Kasi, barkada kami, siya ’yung direktor ko sa Nagsimula sa Puso,” Maja said in one of her interviews.
