My seatmates Martin Loon, Julio Bucoy, and Carlo Valerio had been teasing me of not passing in a recit card because I haven’t been called to recite in Sir Sanidad’s class. But just as I thought, I was called to recite for the first time this evening.
I wasn’t able to read the case but it’s a good thing Martin had his digest handy. I was seated at the front row so before I stood, I suddenly grabbed his digest. It was an excellent recit, mind you. All I said was that the warrantless arrest was invalid. As how Julio described my recit, it was my “first reading” Haha.
Probably when I was discussing arrest in class, Lindsay Lohan was already being arrested by L.A. police officers.
According to a report by Reuters, Lindsay was taken into custody to start a 90-day jail term for violating her probation on a 2007 drunk-driving and cocaine-possession charge.
She was formally sent to a women’s jail by Judge Marsha Revel.
