Kris Lawrence joins R&B band South Border

Star in a Million Season 3 grand winner Kris Lawrence has joined R&B band South Border as its new vocalist.

Kris, who had a fledgling career as a solo artist, decided to join the band. The former boyfriend of controversial sexy star Katrina Halili attempted to stage a showbiz comeback with his single Careless Whisper. Unfortunately, his former girlfriend had popularized the song to epic proportions way ahead of him.

The once called “black sheep” of the family was rumored to be the current boyfriend ofacoustic sensation Jursi, formerly of MYMP.

Kris went to the Philippines to prove to his parents that he can be successful. Granted with initial success, Kris has to prove that he can sustain such.
