Queen of All Media Kris Aquino reportedly confronted the girl who caused her and husband basketball superstar James Yap’s short break-up last Christmas. It can be remebered that James left the family abode on Christmas Eve. Hence, missing noche buena with the family.
The 35 year old woman, identified to be Mayen Austria, who caused the dispute between the couple is a die hard James fanatic. She lives in the same village where James and Kris do. She had been sending chocolates and other goodies addressed exclusively to James. Bothered by this, Kris decided to confront the woman.
The Most Reverend Joel Baylon, Bishop of Legazpi confirmed that he was inside the house when the confrontation took place. He, however, denied that he saw the incident. It was only when Mayen told him, along with a nun based in Spain, what happened after Kris has left, did he know of the incident.
There are two versions of the story. The first one is published in the The Philippine Daily Inquirer. According to the PDI report, Kris was shouting and screaming at Mayen and her mother.
On the other hand, The Philippine StarT published a story wherein Kris Aquino was polite when she talked to the woman and the mother.

the Phil Star version where Kris is polite because it’s not in her nature to yell when she’s mad.. Kris is far from Korina.. haha Inquirer is pro channel 7 so of course they will be bias to any talent from channel 2!!! boo inquirer!! have a nice day gossipboy!!!
yeah, I think that Kris was civil (I think polite is too weird a word to use for a woman like Kris when she confronts the “other” woman, considering she usually expresses her dislike for someone during interviews) to the woman. In any case, whatever tiff James and Kris had, James is still an asshole for leaving his entire family (and his own child, included!) on Christmas eve. Grinch.
