Karylle locking lips with Jericho Rosales
Contrary to reports, singer-actress Karylle, the daughter of Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, did not audition for the lead role in Emir, a full-length musical movie. Reports surfaced that Karylle failed in the auditions.
The clarification came from Carlo Orosa, manager of the former girlfriend of Dingdong Dantes. Carlo, who was rumored to be heading the Talent Center of TV5, said that the lead role for the movie was offered to Karylle. However, they turned it down as they did not know when will Dahil May Isang Ikaw, where Karylle plays a major role, will end.
The same role was reportedly offered to KC Concepcion. The lead role was eventually given to Francheska Farr, grand winner of the GMA-7 singing contest Who Wants to be the Next Big Star?, after passing the auditions.
