Pilipinas Got Talent's Jovit Baldivino with open mouth rather than "Open Arms"
Pilipinas Got Talent held a two-night grand finals which started yesterday and ended tonight. Yesterday was the show’s performance night while results of the voting were revealed tonight.
Out of the 12 grand finalists, frontrunner and Batangas native Jovit Baldivino was proclaimed as the grand winner. Jovit Baldivino got the highest number of votes in Pilipinas Got Talent.
His first ever performance in the talent show made fellow Batangueno PGT judge Ai-Ai delas Alas burst into tears.
Prior to the grand finals, several negative issues about Jovit arose. Some say that he or his manager at least, was unprofessional towards Gov. Vilma Santos. Some say that he really isn’t a siomai vendor and just used this sob story to capture the sympathy of the masses.
Other contestants who made it to the top three were dance groups Velasco Brothers and Baguio Metamorphosis.
To cap the evening, Jovit went back to the stage to give a powerful rendition of his winning piece.
