John Lloyd Cruz respects Sarah Geronimo’s refusal to do third movie

Sarah Geronimo has decided not to do the third installment of her movie with fellow Box Office Royalty John Lloyd Cruz.

John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo first paired up with the box office hit A Very Special Love. They reprise their roles via the second installment of the movie, You Changed My Life. Indeed, both films earned them the accolade of Box Office King and Queen.

Thus, many fans of the Sarah-John Lloyd loveteam are longing for a third installment of their movie. But due to not so recent happenings, i.e. John Lloyd’s seemingly complicated love status, Sarah Geronimo decided not to push for a third movie with John Lloyd citing her inability to handle the pressure of outdoing the film’s previous huge scenes.

John Lloyd respects Sarah’s refusal to continue with the third installment saying that it would be hard if Sarah is not up to it. John Lloyd said, “Everything happens for a reason and also all things work out for the best.”

Furthermore, John Lloyd explained:

“Siguro ito ‘yung dapat mangyari. Mahirap din naman gawin ang isang bagay na may tumutulol o hindi naniniwala. Ang hirap lang kasi we had that [special chemistry], eh. During the filming of [A Very Special Love] for the first few days, ang hirap paniwalain ng tao that we can make this work [but] then tinuloy lang natin and then when it came out, boom!”
