John Lapus: Binaboy ako ng direktor!

Here Comes the Bride press conference at the Dolphy Theater. Pinoy Gossip Boy was in attendance.

John Lapus said in the press conference of his upcoming movie Here Comes the Bride that he was, as he said in the vernacular, “binaboy” by  movie director Chris Martinez.

Pinoy Gossip Boy was invited to the press conference of the movie Here Comes the Bride held at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN.

John “Sweet” Lapus co-stars with Eugene Domingo, Angelica Panganiban, Tuesday Vargas, and Jaime Fabregas in the upcoming movie Here Comes the Bride. This movie features Pinoy Big Brother alum Tom Rodriguez and Voizboys member Nico Antonio in supporting roles.

“Binaboy ako ng direktor,” said John “Sweet” Lapus.

But before you react violently, John Lapus said that in jest. Sweet made that statement in reference to a scene in the movie Here Comes the Bride, where he had to make love with a female.

The movie was about five persons who swapped souls due to a car crash in the middle of a solar eclipse. The sould of Angelica Panganiban, the bride, gets into the principal sponsor played by Eugene Domingo. Eugene’s souls gets into the soul of the ring bearer’s nanny played by Tuesday Vargas. Tuesday’s soul gets into Jaime Fabregas, the rich old patriarch. Jaime’s soul gets into John Lapus, a gay beautician. Ultimately, John’s soul gets into the body of Angelica Panganiban!

The big surprise is that the souls are happy where they are, but not the bride!

Here Comes the Bride opnes on May 12, 2010. The movie is a co-production of Star Cinema, OctoArts Films, and Quantum.
