Arnel Pineda with the rest of Journey
International star Arnel Pineda is rumored to have bolt out from the legendary musical group Journey, but the Filipino singer was quick to clarify the issue.
In an encounter with Arnel Pineda last night, during the exclusive grand opening of Limelight Bar in Antipolo City, I cannot help but ask him when I was introduced to him if he is still with Journey.
Arnel said, “I’m still with Journey”
Arnel graced the exclusive by-invitation grand opening of Limelight Bar. Owned by Ambassador Lhuiller, Limelight Bar will revolutionize the party landscape in the Upper East Side of the metro. Arnel gave a powerful rendition of “Straight from the Heart,” which madew the whole crowd go crazy with adoration for the Journey frontman.
In a separate interview, Arnel also made mention that Journey and he will be releasing a new album composed of 12 tracks soon.
Despite his international status, Arnel is an epitome of humility. I hope every Filipino who goes global remains as humble as Arnel is.
