Gerald Anderson together with thinspiration Kim Chiu
The buzz is that teen heartthrob Gerald Anderson will soon be starring in an action movie. A very reliable source informed Pinoy Gossip Boy that Star Cinema is now conceptualizing an action film which would star Gerald.
Gerald had his relatively fair share of action scenes on TV. First, he appeared in the Agimat Series where he played Tiagong Akyat. Gerald performed several stunts in that action series. Likewise, Gerald also does some action scenes for Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo wehre he plays a budding investigator.
Gerald confessed that it was his childhood dream to be an action star. He said, “Bata pa lang, mahilig na ako sa action, mga movies ni Jackie Chan. Ngayon, I have a chance para gawin ang mga ginagawa nila, talagang dream ko.”
However, Gerald will be picky on his action roles: “Ayokong gumawa ng basta action lang, gusto ko may drama, gusto ko maganda ang kuwento. Kumbaga, ‘yung action, bumabagay lang sakuwento. Pero ang pinakaimportante dun e ‘yung lalim ng kuwento, ‘yung drama, kaya pangalawa lang ‘yong action.”
