Various sources confirmed that primetime actor and youth role model Dingdong Dantes almost figured into a fist fight with comedian Bayani Agbayani.

The said encounter occurred ath the birthday party of singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid.

Based on accounts of witnesses, mostly celebrities and members of the entertainment press, the two almost got into a fist fight if weren’t of the intercession of John Estrada and Regine Velasquez, fiancee of the celebrant.

Though the reason for such fight was still unclear, a friend from the entertainment press said that Marian Rivera may have caused the rift between the two male celebrities. Per the story, Bayani Agbayani, in an episode of Show Me Da Manny, spat (yes, the past tense of spit) at Marian Rivera. The latter may have apprised her boyfriend Dingdong Dantes if the incident, thus making the latter lose his cool when he saw Bayani.

Funny trivia: Before the almost physical incident between Bayani Agbayani and Dingdong Dantes at Ogie Alcasid’s birthday celebration, talent manager Annabelle Rama had a verbal encounter with fellow talent manager Angeli Pangilinan.
