After days of hospitalization, comedy legend Palito dies today. Palito is dead at 76. Reynaldo Hipolito in real life, the comedian was last confined at the Philippine General Hospital.
Before Palito died, his family members asked the public for contributions to Palito’s hospital expenses.
A number of celebrities and politicians pledged financial support for Palito’s hospitalization. However, despite the pour of support, Palito died today.
TV journalist Marie Lozano said via Twitter that she gets goosebumps “thinking about how Palito’s family knew from last night he will die today.”
