Claudine Barretto in a provocative episode on TV
People perhaps already know that there is an ongoing feud between versatile actresses Claudine Barretto and Angelica Panganiban. However, not too many are aware of the cause of the said spat.
In an article published on Tonight, Claudine Barretto was reportedly thinking of filing a slander suit against Angelica Panganiban. Per the article, Angelica was allegedly spreading rumors that Claudine is having an extra-marital affair.
The man whom Claudine was alleged to be having an extra-marital affair with is no less than the best friend of Derek Ramsay named Martin Castro. This person is likewise an acquaintance of Claudine’s husband, Raymart Santiago.
I do not intend to pass judgment as facts of the instant case are still unclear. I wish Angelica and Claudine could clarify these.
In response to the suit threat, Star Magic Head Johnny Manahad reportedly said:
“Go ahead. Sue, Claudine. Make our day! Para Bellum.“
Based on writer’s own research, para bellum means “prepare for war.”
So, will either Angelica or Mr. M be on their red stilettos for war? Let’s see.
