Christian Bautista deported from Indonesia

    Singer-actor Christian Bautista

Filipino singer Christian Bautista was reportedly deported from Indonesia after authorities found out that he violated immigration policies.

Bautista, who is likewise popular in Indonesia, reportedly held a concert despite only having a tourist visa, The Jakarta Post reported.

“The immigration office found him conducting a show at Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang on Wednesday evening.

“‘We will deport him this [Friday] afternoon,’ a spokesman of the immigration directorate general at the Law and Human Rights Ministry, Sukoadji said on Friday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

“Christian had a 30-day visiting visa since Wednesday but apparently used the opportunity to hold a concert on the day he arrived in Indonesia, Sukoadji added.

“The singer, who rose into fame in Indonesia with the hit single “The Way You Look at Me”, was questioned by immigration officers from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday.”

Bautista and his manager, however, maintained that no deportation took place. The interrogation was to clarify his visa.

Clarification??? Because there’s something fishy going on. You wont get questioned if you do the right thing. Stop defending … It’s true naman eh.. Dineport nga …
