Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson himself confirmed reports that his son, Ilocos Sur Representative Ronald Signson, was arrested in Hongkong for drug possession.
News of Ronald Signson’s, the ex-boyfriend of actress Lovi Poe, detention in Hongkong surfaced in the showbiz circles after a tip was sent that a certain Ronald Signson was jailed for drug possession.
At first, Ronald Singson’s camp denied the allegations. Actor Anjo Yllana was among the first to deny the incident. Anjo’s brother, Jomari, is Ronald’s partner in concert production.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Chavit said that he wishes his son to get deported immediately after having been caught with illegal drugs at the Hongkong International Airport.
“Sana ma-deport dahil maliit na bagay yung nahuli sa possession niya. Nasulsulan lang siguro yun. Humihingi ako ng paumanhin sa lahat at hindi magandang ehemplo ang nangyaring ito hopefully magsisilbing leksiyon sa lahat,”
Furthermore, he said that his son was just induced into taking drugs.
Hmm… By whom? Lovi Poe? Jomari Yllana? Who elese is close to Ronald Singson?

wala ka na bang ibang alam na kaibigan ng anak ni chavit si jomari at lovi poe? lang? dami naman yang social of friends noh… holler!!! si chavit nga nagda drugs din nga yan eh… di lang mahuli huli kasi wais!
This congressman should be ashamed of himself. The house of representatives should kick him of from the office. Im sure Ronald will not RESIGN…
It’s also embarrassing that some TV talk shows like paparazzi is interviewing chavit as if the’re victims and deserve to be understood. WHAT? ganyan na ba talaga panahon ngayon? drug users/ dealers, murderers, corrupt ang dapat kinakaawan? He’s totally like his FATHER “chavit” who self-admitted became a jueteng lord in his province…tapos ni reveal lang si erap…free na sya from any scrutiny and trial (so next time when pipol kills someone,,,just tell you can be a state witness)
This situation is an embarrassment again to our country. Imagine nakalusot sa airport natin? he was using a diplomatic passport daw ..said here…then finally it was revealed in the news that he was only using a green ordinary passport..so how can he not pass through the routine guard checking?
He doesnt even deserve to be deported here sa pinas? why so he can go FREE? BAYARAN LNG DOJ or whoever eh.
The government should stay out of this esp at the type of his case there…let the rule of court take over this.
I hope mga pinoy should learn from this and really stop protecting BAD people and rather help the real victims like mga abused OFWs.
