CA issues TRO on Showtime suspension

Top rating variety program, 'Showtime'

The Court of Appeal has issued a resolution dated January 15, 2009 granting a temporary restraining order against the suspension notice issued by the MTRCB against high-rating noontime program Showtime. The 60-day TRO enjoins  MTRCB, including any and all persons acting in their behalf and under their command and authority, from continuing to enforce the Preventive Suspension Order dated January 11, 2010 issued against Showtime, pending the resolution of the instant petition.

The TRO only means that Showtime will be back on air starting tomorrow, January 19, 2010.

    Just want to let you know and hopefully you would post this piece of news soon. Showtime might be in a new kind of trouble. They might get sued for plagiarism.
