Dethroned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010 Maria Venus Raj waves her crown goodbye.
Binibining Pilipinas Universe Maria Venus Raj was stripped of her crown and title. According to the spokesperson from the Araneta Group, Maria Venus Raj will be removed from her post as Binibining Pilipinas Universe.
Maria Venus Raj will be replaced by Binibining Pilipinas runner-up Helen Nicolette Henson, who will now assume the responsibilities of the Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010, which include, inter alia, representing the country to the Miss Universe Pageant.
According to the representative of the Araneta Group, Legazpi native Raj will be replaced due to some factual inconsistencies on her birth certificate. Raj, standing 5’9″, was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe last March 7. She has not reigned for over a month yet.

I pity on Venus. The BPCI should have look into the candidates profiles way before accepting them in the roster of official candidates. Raj has a better chance of winning the Ms Universe crown this year. Kasalanan pa rin ito ng mga organizers.
Anyhow, Helen Henson will make a good representative. During the Bb Pilipinas pageant night, she gave the most impressive answer to the query though.

that was very unfair to venus…………… sana s screening palang ng pageant inalam na nila kung qualified ba ang isang candidate para di naman maging sa mga babae nangangarap na maging beauty queen…….
