Sen. Kiko Pangilinan with wife Sharon Cuneta and biological and adopted daughters
It is election time once again. It is no wonder that at this time, many black propaganda against politicians come up in various media. One of the most intrigued politicians is Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, husband of Megastar Sharon Cuneta. It is quite surprising though that despite his not running for any elective post this elections, intrigues do not cease to follow him. Politicians are oftentimes followed by controversies. Showbiz personalities are more followed by controversies more than politicians are. Perhaps, politics and showbiz can be a deadly combination.
Months ago, Kiko was intrigued of having lived in with a man during his student days in the UP College of Law. Kiko confirmed this in a talk show saying that he indeed shared an apartment with a male friend, later named to be David Celdran.
That controversy did not cause so much intrigue. Detractors then concocted a story that Kiko has another woman, a direct contradiction to his supposed being gay.
As days pass, these allegations against Kiko get more detailed. In a forum thread, Kiko was said to have sired an illegitimate child with a Bacolod native. The other woman was identified to be Nina Bustamante, a former staff of the Senator from Quezon City. Nina, as described in the article, was a graduate of management-marketing from the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod.
Worse, the black propaganda even made mention that the baby boy said to be adopted by the Megastar is Kiko’s own son. Furthermore, Sharon’s knowing of Kiko’s extra-marital affairs allegedly caused Sharon to leave the family abode. However, Sharon and Kiko, at multiple instances, have both denied with conviction that they have separated.
I do not know with these allegations, they get more creative as time passes. At some point, they are more melodramatic than Sharon’s award-winning movies. Perhaps Sharon can hire these propagandists to write her a new movie script. Who knows, Sharon might bag another Best Actress Award.
