Former Kapamilya host Edu Manzano signed a contract with his former station’s rival network GMA-7 yesterday.
Edu Manzano, who had to to give his showbiz career a halt when he ran for vice president last May, will be returning back to the game show scene. While a good number of fans are thrilled to see Edu back on TV, some critics slams the TV host for not staying true to his words.
Edu was quoted during the election season that regardless whether he wins or loses in the elctions, he will still quit show business.
Edu will be hosting the upcoming GMA-7 show Asar Talo Pero Laging Panalo!
Present in Edu’s contract signing yesterday are his manager June Torrejon, GMA Network Chairman, President and CEO Felipe L. Gozon; COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr; and Senior Vice President for Entertainment Wilma V. Galvante.

If he wants to go back to showbiz then let him. No reason to make a big deal out of it.
