The Department of Justice, through an Order issued by Acting Secretary Alberto C. Agra, absolves TV host Willie Revillame from the 71 counts of killings with regard to the unfortunate Wowowee ULTRA stampede.
Secretary Agra also initially ordered the absolution of some members of the Ampatuan clan in the Maguindanao Massacre.
Both the Maguindanao Massacre and the Wowowee ULTRA Stampede involve huge number of human slaughter.
“After a careful examination of the motion and the records of this case, we find no cogent reason to alter or modify, much less reverse our findings,” Secretary Agra said in his order.
Four years after the killing of the 71 people by Willie Revillame’s show, they are still waiting for justice.
